The 25V12A 1A22R pump is produced by Vickers as part of the V Series Vane Pumps series. It supplies hydraulic power for automation circuits by converting shaft torque into flow with a displacement of 39 cm³ per revolution (2.47 in³ per revolution), giving predictable volume with each rotation. At 1200 rpm and 100 psi, it delivers a rated flow of 12 gpm to actuators and valves. The unit supports speeds up to 1800 rpm on anti-wear oil, allowing higher throughput when required, while still maintaining a controllable minimum speed of 600 rpm for low-flow tasks. Continuous operation is permitted at pressures up to 172 bar (2500 psi), so the pump can drive medium-pressure cylinders and motors. Clockwise rotation when viewed from the shaft ensures compatibility with standard right-hand prime movers. A 22.23 mm (0.875 in) shaft diameter transmits torque, and the 9.53 mm (0.375 in) key width aligns the coupling to prevent slip.
Inlet conditions are managed by allowing up to 1.4 bar (20 psi) positive pressure to the suction port and tolerating a vacuum down to −0.17 bar (5 inHg), giving flexibility in reservoir layout and fluid level. The housing attaches by a flange mount, which simplifies alignment to the drive source, and its outlet is oriented opposite the inlet to streamline hose routing in compact manifolds. Port hardware follows inch-based sizing, and the working connections use an SAE 4-bolt flange pattern for secure, leak-free attachment. Fluid is moved by sliding vanes, matching the internal pumping element specified for this series.
