Its displacement of 29.7 cm³ per revolution establishes the volume moved each shaft turn, giving designers a fixed basis for flow calculations. Under 1200 rpm and 100 psi it delivers 34 L/min, providing steady flow for medium-duty circuits, while at the maximum 2800 rpm and full pressure the flow rises to 75 L/min for short-term high demand. That performance requires 26.5 kW of input power, so the prime mover can be matched accurately.
