The V10 1S2S 1A20 vane pump is manufactured by Vickers within the Square Vane Pumps series and supplies consistent hydraulic flow for automated machinery. The fixed displacement of 6.6 cm³ per revolution establishes the volume of oil delivered each shaft turn. Under a reference condition of 1200 rpm and 100 psi, it provides a rated delivery of 2 US gpm, which helps designers size return and cooling circuits. A maximum operating pressure of 172 bar allows the pump to support medium-pressure systems without derating. It can run at speeds up to 4500 rpm so it matches high-speed electric motors. Right-hand rotation, viewed from the shaft end, defines the correct drive direction during installation. The 19.05 mm shaft diameter mates with standard couplings, and a 0.187 in square key transfers torque from the prime mover.
The pump connects to the reservoir through a 1-5/16-12 UN-2B straight inlet port that simplifies threading to common suction hoses. Inlet pressure must not exceed 0.7 bar to prevent seal washout, and the unit tolerates up to 5 inHg vacuum so it can draw fluid from tanks mounted slightly below the pump centerline. Discharge piping is attached to a 3/4-16 UN-2B straight outlet port located opposite the inlet, a layout that keeps the suction and pressure lines separated for easier routing. A two-bolt flange mounting pattern secures the housing to engine blocks or adapter plates with minimal hardware and maintains alignment between the shaft and drive motor.
