The V10 1P4P 1C20 vane pump is produced by Vickers in the Square Vane Pumps series for fixed-displacement hydraulic power generation in automated hydraulic systems. The displacement of 13.1 cm³ per revolution sets the volume moved each shaft turn, establishing baseline flow. At 1200 rpm the unit delivers an SAE rated capacity of 4 US gpm at 100 psi, giving designers a reference for pump sizing at common drive speeds. A maximum operating pressure of 172 bar enables the pump to serve medium-pressure circuits without overstressing the cartridge. Right-hand clockwise rotation, viewed from the shaft end, matches engines or electric motors that turn in that direction. A 2-bolt flange mounting pattern holds the housing securely and simplifies quick replacement on compatible brackets.

Fluid entry is handled by a 1.00 inch NPT inlet port, chosen to keep suction velocity low and fit standard pipe fittings. The inlet can tolerate positive pressures up to 0.7 bar, allowing the unit to operate with a modest charge feed. When mounted above the reservoir it can also withstand a maximum inlet vacuum of 5 in Hg, preventing cavitation during cold starts. Discharge leaves through a 0.500 inch NPT outlet port located in line with the inlet, a layout that simplifies straight-through piping and reduces hose bends. Power is transmitted by a shaft that accepts a 0.187 inch square key 1.00 inch long; this key secures the coupling so torque is carried without slip.
