The PRV1-10-S-0-12/ valve is part of the Sequence and Unloading Valves series from Vickers and is applied to control staged functions in hydraulic automation. A screw adjustment lets technicians set the required pressure without removing the cartridge from the manifold. The unit installs as a screw-in cartridge, and the C-10-3 cavity defines the pocket profile that must be machined in the block. Direct acting operation simplifies internal flow paths for fast response. Three valve ports route inlet, secondary, and exhaust lines so sequential tasks can be isolated. A rated flow of 15 L/min keeps pressure drop low in medium-capacity circuits. The valve begins to open at 14 bar and maintains reliable sequencing up to a maximum working pressure of 85 bar.
For structural safety the housing is verified for a pressure rating of 165 bar, while the cartridge-only port format means it must be fitted into a compatible manifold or line body. Buna-N seals resist common petroleum-based fluids and simplify field replacement. Internal leakage is limited to 0.3 cc/min, reducing heat generation and conserving pump energy during standby. The length of 125.984 mm supports deep seating in the cavity, and a width of 25.400 mm and matching height of 25.400 mm help designers allocate uniform clearance on multiple-valve rails. A cleanliness target of ISO 18/16/13 or better is recommended to protect the precision lands and orifices. Together these features allow the valve to carry out dependable sequencing and unloading in compact hydraulic manifolds.
