The RV5-16-S-0-60/ relief valve belongs to the Relief Valves series and is manufactured by Vickers for hydraulic automation systems where controlled pressure release is needed. It installs as a screw-in cartridge, fitting the C-16-2 cavity so it can be embedded directly into manifold blocks. The screw adjustment mechanism lets technicians tune the valve in the field, while an initial factory set pressure of 242.5 bar provides a baseline setting for rapid commissioning. The design supports a continuous pressure rating of 350 bar, with allowable operation down to a minimum working pressure of 70 bar so it can protect circuits across a wide operating range. A maximum working pressure of 415 bar covers short-duration peaks without damage.

With a rated capacity of 300 lpm, the cartridge can vent full pump flow in large mobile or industrial power units without excessive pressure rise. Leakage when seated is restricted to 164 cc/min, so standby energy loss remains low and downstream actuators stay unloaded during idle periods. The sealing interface uses Buna-N to withstand standard mineral oils and maintain resilience after repeated pressure cycles and temperature fluctuations.
