The RV5-10-S-6T-35 relief valve is manufactured by Vickers for the Relief Valves series. It protects hydraulic automation circuits by diverting excess flow when pressure rises above a chosen point. The valve is pilot operated, so a small control passage moves the main element to open or close the outlet. A spool style assembly inside the C-10-2 cavity meters fluid as pressure changes. System pressure is set with a screw that alters spring force, and the factory preset is 121 bar. During operation the unit carries up to 114 L/min without exceeding the defined pressure limit.
This valve interfaces with machinery through two SAE ports sized at 3/8 in, and the cartridge itself also contains two internal valve ports, keeping manifold channels straightforward. A Buna-N seal set prevents external leakage and accepts standard hydraulic oils. To limit contamination, fluid cleanliness should reach ISO 18/16/13. The cartridge measures 63.500 mm in length, 44.196 mm in width, and 143.002 mm in height, so designers must reserve matching space in the block. These dimensional and connection features support reliable over-pressure relief in compact hydraulic systems.
