The RV11-12-S-0-30/ relief valve is produced by Vickers and belongs to the Relief Valves series. It is supplied as a screw-in cartridge for hydraulic automation, where it diverts flow to tank when pressure exceeds a preset level. Pressure is tuned through a screw adjustment that technicians can turn while the valve remains installed. The unit fits the standardized C-12-2 cavity, simplifying manifold design and replacement. At the factory the cracking point is set to 113.5 bar, yet users may raise or lower it within the operating window. Safe function is ensured by a minimum working pressure of 17 bar and a maximum rating of 210 bar. Two ports provide separate inlet and outlet connections.
Internal leakage is limited to 0.3 cc per minute, so standby losses and heat generation stay low in closed circuits. The flow path supports up to 190 L per minute, or 50.19 US gpm, allowing the cartridge to protect pumps and actuators in medium-size power units. It remains serviceable in fluid temperatures from –40 °C to 120 °C without performance drift. No external housing is included, which lets system designers choose a manifold or line body that matches their installation.
