The F3-CG-10-B-30 valve is built by Vickers and belongs to the Relief Valves series. It is used in hydraulic automation to limit system pressure and protect components. A balanced piston construction minimizes the influence of inlet pressure on opening force. The valve performs a relief function, venting fluid to tank when the set point is reached. Subplate mounting allows quick replacement within a manifold block. With a nominal size of 1-1/4 in (Size 10), it accommodates large flow passages, and the standard rated flow reaches 454 l/min (120 USgpm) to suit high-capacity circuits. The hydraulic circuit can use mineral oil or fire-resistant fluids designated F3, and fluorocarbon seals of the same F3 rating maintain compatibility with those media.
Mating with a CGM-10S-20 subplate aligns the passages and fixes the valve in place. The adjustable spring permits a minimum set pressure of 8.5 bar (125 psi) and can be increased to 70 bar (1000 psi). The assembly withstands a continuous operating pressure of 210 bar (3000 psi), and tank return lines may see peak transients up to 155 bar (2250 psi). Correct seating depends on a mounting pad flatness held within 0.0005 in (0.013 mm), while a surface finish of 63 µin (1.6 µm) prevents leakage at the gasket interface. These dimensional controls ensure consistent pressure relief performance in demanding industrial systems.
