The DGMC-3-AT-AW-41 relief valve is produced by Vickers within the Relief Valves series and is intended to safeguard hydraulic lines by controlling overpressure. It is pressure operated, so it opens automatically when line pressure exceeds the chosen setting. That setting is adjusted with a screw and locknut to secure the selected value against vibration. When the valve shifts, excess fluid is directed to port T, identified as the discharge port. The first function limits pressure in passage A, keeping downstream actuators within rated limits. Installation is subplate or manifold mounted, and the hydraulic interface follows ISO 4401-03 for interchangeability with size 03 bases. The design is suited to petroleum oils, and reliable service depends on maintaining fluid cleanliness at 17/15/12 microns. The assembly withstands system pressures up to 315 bar without loss of stability.
This single relief valve completes its protective role with dimensions that simplify manifold layout; the body is 154.940 mm long, 47.498 mm wide, and 39.878 mm high, so it occupies little plate surface and leaves clearance for adjacent components. A rated flow capacity of 60 L/min allows it to vent sufficient volume in mobile and industrial circuits without inducing sudden pressure spikes. Sealing is handled by Viton elements that resist swelling when exposed to petroleum-based oils and elevated temperatures, extending service life between maintenance intervals.
