The CT5060ACMWB90 valve is produced by Vickers for the Relief Valves series and is intended to limit pressure in automated hydraulic circuits. It is solenoid controlled and pilot operated, using a DG4V-3S pilot valve that shifts the main stage once the coil is energized. The electrical coil is rated for 115/120 V AC at 60 Hz and follows a low-watt B design to reduce power loss. When fully open, the valve passes up to 227 l/min (60 US gpm) while containing system pressure to a maximum of 210 bar (3000 psi). A spring offset arrangement keeps the spool in its normal position until command signals arrive, and the spool follows the Type 0 function to generate a consistent relief curve.
An enclosure rated NEMA Type 4 protects the assembly from splashed water and outdoor dust, allowing installation in general industrial locations. The hydraulic interface uses a 3/4 NPTF system port for the main line and a .4375-20 UNF-2B pilot or gauge port for pressure monitoring. Electrical conductors are routed through a 1/2 NPT wiring housing that mates with standard conduit fittings. Fluorocarbon seals are fitted to withstand common hydraulic fluids and elevated temperatures. During operation the unit performs a pressure relief function, diverting excess flow once the preset limit is reached and safeguarding downstream components.
