The CG5080AFMFPA3WLB6P10110 valve is part of the Relief Valves series from Vickers and maintains system pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. It is solenoid controlled, so an electrical signal initiates pressure relief rather than mechanical pilot flow. An energized coil rated at 120 V AC 60 Hz drives the armature. The 3-pin PA3 receptacle simplifies wiring and seals the electrical interface. Shift time is 12 ms when the alternating-current coil is powered, allowing quick pressure response. A DG4V-3 high-performance pilot valve meters the pilot flow to the main stage for stable operation. The main stage uses a balanced piston construction to minimize the effect of downstream pressure on the set point. A 1.00 mm (0.040 in) orifice at the P port limits pilot flow and dampens pressure spikes.

The valve mounts on a manifold or subplate, and its orientation is unrestricted, giving designers flexibility in block layouts. The housing has a 1/2 in NPT connection fitted with indicator lights to show coil status for maintenance checks. A plain end-cap manual override lets technicians shift the spool during commissioning or power loss. The spring offset A arrangement returns the spool to its normal position when the coil is de-energized. System backpressure in the tank line must stay below 7 bar (100 psi) to avoid altering the relief setting. Cleanliness of the hydraulic fluid should meet ISO 4406 level 19/17/14 to protect the precision piston and pilot passages. Continuous operation is permitted up to 68 °C (155 °F) fluid temperature without derating coil or seals.
