The PVB6RSY21CC hydraulic pump belongs to the PVB Piston Pumps series from Vickers and provides variable flow for industrial hydraulic automation. It is a variable-displacement axial piston unit, so its output adapts to load demands instead of running at full stroke continuously. A CC adjustable maximum-displacement stop lets maintenance crews set the upper stroke limit to match system flow requirements. The geometric displacement is 13.81 cm³ per revolution, and at the rated shaft speed of 1800 r/min this produces a nominal flow of 22.7 L/min for actuating cylinders or motors. Because the swashplate works on one side of center, flow is delivered in a single direction which simplifies control valves. The rotating group is configured for clockwise rotation when viewed from the shaft end, permitting direct coupling to standard electric motors without reversing gearboxes.
Fluid and environmental limits define safe operation. The pump handles AW oil, water-glycol, and invert-emulsion fluids, giving flexibility in plant specifications or fire-resistant applications. Outlet pressure may reach 140 bar (2000 psi) while inlet pressure must stay below 1.0 bar (15 psi) to avoid cavitation. Mineral-oil circuits can run with fluid temperatures up to 80 °C, whereas water-containing blends must remain at or below 54 °C to protect internal components. Ambient conditions are acceptable from −20 °C to 70 °C, allowing use in unheated yards as well as warm machine halls. Together these limits frame the service envelope so the pump maintains efficiency and life without exceeding mechanical or thermal ratings.
