The PVB29-RS-20-CM-11 pump is part of the PVB Piston Pumps series manufactured by Vickers for hydraulic automation where compact, fixed-displacement axial piston units are preferred. It delivers 61.6 cm³ per revolution, so every turn of the shaft moves 3.76 in³ of oil through the circuit. Displacement is arranged on one side of center, a layout that simplifies swashplate control. The shaft turns clockwise when viewed from the drive end, and with right-hand rotation port mapping assigns A as the inlet and B as the outlet. System lines connect through a 1.625-12 UNF-2B threaded inlet/outlet port, while leakage oil exits via a 0.750-16 UNF-2B case-drain port. A standard SAE mounting flange locates the housing, and continuous operation is permitted up to 140 bar (2,000 psi).
Pressure compensation identified by the CM code automatically trims the swashplate to stabilize delivery, allowing the unit to match system demand without external valving. At 1,800 rpm and 140 bar it requires 29.4 kW (39.5 hp) of input power and produces 109.7 L/min (29 gpm) of flow to downstream actuators. Acoustic output reaches 81 dBA under the same conditions, a level typical for pumps of this size class. Reliable service is maintained from –20 °C (–4 °F) ambient up to 70 °C (158 °F), and the circulating mineral oil may reach 80 °C (176 °F) without derating. These limits define the thermal envelope necessary for stable viscosity and component life.
