The PVB29-LS-20-CM-11 is a pump built by Vickers in the PVB Piston Pumps series to supply controlled flow in hydraulic automation. It uses a pressure compensator type CM, so delivery is reduced once system pressure reaches a preset value. The adjustment range spans from 17 bar to 100 bar, enabling circuits to be tuned for standby or full-load conditions without changing hardware. A geometric displacement of 61.60 cm³ per revolution defines the volume moved each shaft turn, and when the shaft runs at its rated 1800 r/min the pump outputs 109.7 L/min. Under these conditions it absorbs 29.4 kW, a figure that assists designers when sizing prime movers. Outlet pressure capability reaches 140 bar, allowing the unit to drive cylinders or motors in medium-pressure machines, while inlet pressure must stay below 1.0 bar to avoid cavitation at the swashplate assembly.
The housing attaches to power units with an SAE mounting flange, and primary connections use 1.625-12 UNF-2B O-ring threads to simplify leak-free plumbing. Two separate case drain ports, each tapped .750-16 UNF-2B, let installers route leakage oil to tank while minimizing back pressure. Displacement changes occur on one side of center, giving a unidirectional response that simplifies feedback linkage. The rotating group turns anticlockwise when viewed from the shaft end, so drive couplings must match this orientation. Torque is transmitted through a 7.9 mm square by 31.7 mm long key, ensuring the shaft can accept the power noted earlier without slippage. These mechanical details combine with the stated limits to support repeatable performance and straightforward integration in industrial presses, machine tools, and other automated hydraulic equipment.
