The PVB20-LS-20-CC-11 piston pump is produced by Vickers for the PVB Piston Pumps series and serves as a variable-displacement unit in hydraulic automation systems. Its geometric displacement of 42.80 cm³ per revolution defines the volume of fluid delivered each shaft turn, while a rated flow of 75.7 L/min at 1800 r/min sets the expected circuit throughput under nominal conditions. Supplying this flow at 210 bar requires 29.4 kW of input power, a figure used when sizing prime movers. The shaft can be driven up to 1800 r/min with antiwear oil, establishing the mechanical speed limit. A CC compensator provides an adjustable maximum displacement stop so the user can cap flow to match system demand. The shaft end is configured for anticlockwise rotation, which dictates motor coupling direction, and an SAE mounting flange positions the pump on standard bell housings. Fluid exits through a 1.625-12 UNF-2B main port thread that accepts common high-pressure fittings.
Two case drain ports threaded .750-16 UNF-2B return internal leakage to the reservoir and permit alternative hose orientation inside the cabinet. The pump tolerates up to 210 bar with antiwear oil, suiting high-pressure circuits, while the 140 bar ceiling for water-glycol or water-in-oil fluids reflects the lower lubricity of fire-resistant blends. Operation is allowed with fluid temperatures as high as +80 °C, protecting viscosity during heavy duty cycles, and startup can proceed at ambient temperatures down to –20 °C without cold-weather modifications. Noise emission reaches 76 dB(A) at 1500 r/min and 70 bar, a value used when assessing workplace sound exposure.
