The PVB15-RSY-41-CM-12 pump is produced by Vickers within the PVB Piston Pumps series and supplies regulated hydraulic power to automation systems. A pressure compensator control keeps outlet pressure constant, preventing energy loss when flow demand drops. The geometric displacement is 33.00 cm³ per revolution, establishing a fixed volume transfer every shaft turn. Pumping occurs on one side of center, so the swashplate moves in a single direction for stable response. At 1800 r/min the unit outputs 59.4 L/min, and the drive motor must deliver 29.4 kW at that speed to maintain this flow. The housing tolerates a pressure setting up to 140 bar, covering common industrial circuit requirements. Clockwise rotation viewed from the shaft end fixes installation orientation and aligns internal porting correctly.
Fluid and environmental limits govern reliable service. The pump works with mineral oil, water-glycol, or invert-emulsion fluids, allowing selection for fire resistance or cost control. Viscosity has to stay between 13 cSt and 220 cSt so hydrostatic bearings remain lubricated without excessive drag. Oil temperature may reach 80 °C, while water-based media must not exceed 54 °C to prevent seal damage. Ambient air can drop to −20 °C or rise to 70 °C, enabling use in refrigerated plants or hot process areas as long as fluid stays within the above limits. These boundaries let designers size coolers, heaters, and conditioners properly so the pump sustains volumetric efficiency and component life.
