The PVB115-3B is produced by Vickers within the PVB Piston Pumps series and supplies pressurized fluid for hydraulic automation circuits. It is built to work with hydrocarbon fuels and oils, matching common industrial power and lubrication fluids. A piston pumping element generates the required flow with high volumetric efficiency, while the single-acting reciprocating design simplifies internal valving by pressurizing fluid on only one side of the stroke. Stroke length is variable, allowing the operator to change displacement and regulate system flow without changing speed. A close-coupled drive connection mounts the pump directly to the prime mover to reduce misalignment. Power is transmitted through a splined involute external shaft that offers positive torque transfer, and a shaft length of 2.438 in provides full engagement with standard hydraulic motors.
One threaded internal discharge port routes the pressurized fluid to downstream components; its 1.062-12 UN thread accepts high-pressure fittings for secure attachment. Fluid enters through a single intake port, also threaded internally, so suction piping can be connected without additional adapters. The intake opening uses a 1.312-12 UN thread that supports large-diameter hoses to minimize inlet restriction. This port arrangement keeps external plumbing straightforward and helps maintain compact installation envelopes in machinery skids. Together, the dedicated intake and discharge paths, combined with adjustable stroke capability, allow the pump to deliver stable flow while fitting neatly into automated hydraulic systems that rely on precise fluid handling.
