The PVB10 RSY31 C11 pump belongs to the PVB Piston Pumps series and is manufactured by Vickers for hydraulic automation tasks such as supplying controlled flow to actuators. It offers a geometric displacement of 21.10 cm³/rev (1.29 in³/rev), allowing predictable flow per shaft revolution. Rotation is clockwise when viewed at the shaft end, so it matches installations that drive right-hand-oriented systems. The displacement zone is on one side of center, which simplifies porting in single-circuit hydraulic layouts. A maximum shaft speed of 1800 r/min permits direct coupling to standard electric motors without overspeed. The main pressure ports use a 1.625-12 UN-2B SAE O-ring thread, ensuring leak-free high-pressure connections, while return oil leaves through a 0.750-16 UNF-2B SAE O-ring case drain port to control housing pressure. Four 0.500-13 UNC-2B bolts secure the pump to the mounting face, providing stable attachment under load. Ambient operating limits range from −20 °C (−4 °F) to +70 °C (158 °F), enabling outdoor or unconditioned indoor placement.

The unit accepts mineral oil temperatures up to +80 °C (176 °F), so viscosity stays within target ranges during heavy duty cycles, and it handles water-containing fluids up to +54 °C (129 °F) to support fire-resistant media. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 bar (15 psi), which protects shaft seals from excessive suction loads. When operating on antiwear oil, the outlet pressure can reach 210 bar (3000 psi) for conventional high-pressure circuits. With water-glycol fluids the outlet limit is 140 bar (2000 psi), maintaining component life despite reduced lubricity. The same 140 bar (2000 psi) limit applies to water-in-oil emulsions, giving consistent ratings across common fire-resistant blends. A 5 % oil / 95 % water emulsion lowers the allowable pressure to 70 bar (1000 psi) to prevent cavitation and wear during low-lubricity operation.
