The PVB10-RSY-41-CM-12 is an axial piston variable displacement pump manufactured by Vickers in the PVB Piston Pumps series, intended to supply controlled hydraulic flow for automated machinery. A CM pressure compensator adjusts the swashplate to keep outlet pressure steady under load changes. Geometric displacement is 21.10 cm³ per revolution, which defines the volume moved on every shaft turn. At 1800 r/min the pump delivers 37.5 L/min, providing the flow rate typically required by medium-duty actuators. Shaft rotation is clockwise when viewed from the shaft end, so couplings must be aligned accordingly. The compensator permits settings up to 100 bar, establishing the highest operating pressure for the system.
Input power at maximum pressure and speed is 29.4 kW, or 39.5 hp, so the drive motor must match this demand. Displacement occurs on one side of center, meaning the swashplate only tilts in a single direction to vary output. The pump operates in ambient temperatures from −20 °C to +70 °C, allowing use in both refrigerated and high-heat areas. Mineral oil can reach +80 °C without damaging internal parts, while water-containing fluids are limited to +54 °C to avoid vapor formation. These thermal limits help maintain seal integrity and fluid viscosity, supporting closed-loop hydraulic installations that rely on precise flow regulation.
