The F3PVB45AFRSFX10CA11 piston pump is built by Vickers within the PVB Piston Pumps series for closed-loop hydraulic automation. This axial piston design supports efficient power conversion, and its variable displacement model allows operators to change flow on demand for cycle-dependent actuators. A pressure compensator, identified by control type C, modulates swash-plate angle so delivery pressure stays constant under varying loads. The control design number 11 distinguishes the specific compensator package for maintenance ordering. Geometric displacement of 94.50 cm³ per revolution establishes the maximum volume the pistons move each turn, while a displacement zone limited to one side of center keeps the swash-plate from crossing neutral, simplifying control. Clockwise rotation is required, matching engines or motors that turn right-hand. Continuous operation up to 1800 r/min sets the mechanical speed ceiling and protects bearings and valve-plate surfaces.

Two case drain ports let excess leakage oil leave the housing and reduce internal pressure, improving bearing life. The compensator adjuster hex is 38.1 mm, giving technicians a defined wrench size for accurate pressure setting in the field. Main pressure and suction lines connect with SAE four-bolt flanges, and the 50.8 mm port bore diameter ensures the passage area matches the pump’s displacement. The drain port uses a 1.0625-12 UNF O-ring thread, allowing a sealed return line to the reservoir. Maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 bar prevents damage to shaft seals, while a permitted inlet vacuum of 170 mbar accommodates flooded-suction tanks placed below the pump. Outlet pressure can reach 210 bar, enabling the unit to drive cylinders and motors in medium-pressure circuits.
