The URT106C12 valve is an unloading relief valve produced by Vickers within the Pressure Control Valves series. It maintains line pressure by routing excess flow to tank when a preset level is reached for stable operation in hydraulic automation. The pilot-operated design separates sensing and flow passages to improve response accuracy. A two-stage internal arrangement further reduces pressure override during unloading. System pressure is set with a screw and locknut, allowing secure adjustment after commissioning. The valve tolerates up to 210 bar (3000 psi), enabling use in medium-pressure circuits. It can pass 76 L/min (20 US gpm) without excessive loss, supporting moderate pump outputs. Installation is by a 3/4 inch NPT pipe mount, simplifying connection to standard manifolds. Nitrile seals are fitted to provide reliable service with common mineral-based fluids.
External drain routing prevents back pressure from influencing the internal sensing passage and keeps the setting constant. Acceptable fluid cleanliness is ISO 19/17/14, so upstream filtration must hold particle counts below this level. The body materials are compatible with petroleum oils, which are the intended operating media. A 1/4 NPTF gauge port is provided for convenient pressure monitoring during setup and maintenance. Overall width is 77.724 mm (3.060 in), length is 143.002 mm (5.630 in), and height is 158.750 mm (6.250 in), dimensions that allow placement in compact power units. The assembly continues to operate up to 70 °C, matching typical reservoir temperatures in mobile and industrial equipment, and staying within this limit also maintains stable oil viscosity.
