The RG06D310 pressure control valve belongs to the Pressure Control Valves series from Vickers and is applied in hydraulic automation to maintain system pressure. The valve is pilot operated, so a small control flow shifts the main spool and keeps regulation stable with minimal pump load. Its two-stage layout separates the pilot and main stages for consistent response under varying demand. Size 06 dimensions suit installations that follow this common envelope. The unit mounts on a subplate or manifold, allowing replacement without disturbing fixed pipework. All ports are female and use the SAE 12 (1-1/16-12 UN) thread, which lets standard hydraulic fittings connect directly.
The cast iron body withstands continuous duty at a maximum operating pressure of 3000 psi. Nitrile seals tolerate petroleum oils and stay flexible between ‑20 °C and 70 °C to minimize leakage across the full temperature span. There is no check valve, so reverse flow is unimpeded and must be managed elsewhere in the circuit. A flow capacity of 114 L/min permits control of medium-size pumps without excessive pressure drop. Operation requires fluid cleanliness of ISO 4406 19/17/14 or better to prevent spool sticking and pilot erosion. The valve is compatible only with petroleum-based hydraulic oils, ensuring seal longevity and predictable viscosity during service.
