The RCT06D110 is a pressure control valve in the Pressure Control Valves series manufactured by Vickers for hydraulic automation circuits that require stable pressure regulation. It is a direct-operated unit, identified as Type 1, so the spool reacts directly to inlet pressure without a pilot stage to provide quick response. The adjustable range of 250 to 1000 psi (17.2–70 bar) lets the user set an exact relief point for moderate-pressure systems, while the valve body is rated to withstand a maximum of 2000 psi (138 bar) without structural compromise. A 3/4 in female NPT port aligns with common pipe threads, and threaded connections allow mounting directly in the line, reducing the need for sub-plates or manifolds.

An integral check valve offers reverse free flow, permitting unrestricted return fluid when system flow needs to bypass the pressure setting. The internal drain, also marked as Type 1, routes leakage back to the inlet and removes the requirement for an external drain hose, simplifying plumbing. The valve is designed for high-quality lubricating oil, with best performance achieved when viscosity is kept between 100 and 250 SSU at 100 °F; this range maintains film strength around the poppet and limits internal wear. To preserve metering accuracy, the hydraulic fluid should meet or exceed ISO cleanliness code 20/18/15 so particulate contamination does not erode sealing surfaces.
