The RCT03Z110 pressure control valve belongs to the Pressure Control Valves series and is produced by Vickers for regulating system pressure in hydraulic automation circuits. It uses pilot-operated actuation in a two-stage layout so downstream pressure remains stable under varying flow. System limits can be tuned through a screw with a locknut, giving an adjustable range of 60 to 125 psi for secondary relief functions. The unit tolerates up to 3000 psi on the inlet side, permitting installation on medium-pressure power packs. A maximum flow rate of 12 gpm passes through the valve without compromising the pilot reaction. Internal draining returns pilot oil directly to the outlet, reducing external plumbing. An integrated check valve allows reverse flow when the circuit requires free return, removing the need for a separate component.
Cast iron forms the valve body to resist fatigue, while nitrile seals contain petroleum oils that meet ISO 4406 cleanliness code 19/17/14. The working temperature window extends from −4 °F to 158 °F so the valve can operate in unheated equipment as well as warm plant environments. A 3/8 NPT port handles the process connection, and the same thread size is used for the mount, allowing the 3/8 in NPT thread mount style to screw directly into manifold blocks or pipe tees. Internal surfaces are finished to accept the specified cleanliness level, supporting reliable pilot response when the recommended oil type is used. These construction and interface details ensure the valve maintains set pressure across the full environmental and flow limits cited earlier.
