The RCT-06-D3-23 pressure control valve is built by Vickers within the Pressure Control Valves series. It regulates system pressure in hydraulic automation circuits by routing excess flow back to tank when set limits are exceeded. The single-stage design keeps response time short while simplifying maintenance. A nominal size of 06 makes it suitable for medium line diameters, and a pressure rating of 210 bar fits typical mobile or industrial loops. The valve processes up to 114 L/min, allowing it to protect pumps and actuators at moderate flow rates. Connections are threaded at 3/4 NPTF so it can be installed into standard pipe manifolds. External pilot and external drain ports let the designer isolate signal and leakage lines for stable control. The unit works with petroleum oils and requires oil cleanliness of ISO 19/17/14 to avoid spool wear and drift.
An internal check valve lets flow bypass the unit in the reverse direction, preventing pressure drop during return flow. Buna-N seals resist petroleum-based fluids while holding leakage to a minimum from −20 °C up to 70 °C, covering typical outdoor and factory environments. The housing measures 3.75 in in length, 4.25 in in width, and 7.93 in in height, so it occupies limited space in compact power units. A mass of 13 lb permits single-person handling during service, and it eliminates the need for hoists during replacement tasks. This integrated bypass feature also reduces the number of discrete components in the manifold, helping designers lower installation cost. These dimensional and weight characteristics simplify integration on manifolds while keeping overall system size low.
