The RCG06B223 valve is produced by Vickers within the Pressure Control Valves series and is intended to maintain stable pressure levels in hydraulic automation circuits. It employs pilot-operated actuation so a small control flow shifts the main spool with reduced force. A two-stage layout pairs a sensitive pilot element with a high-capacity main stage for consistent response. The port interface follows size 06, making the unit compatible with compact CETOP 3 manifolds. Subplate or manifold mounting allows direct installation on a hydraulic block to shorten external piping. A built-in check valve lets fluid return freely in the opposite direction without lifting the main spool. The design supports a nominal flow of 114 L/min, allowing medium-capacity circuits to operate without excessive pressure loss.

The housing measures 91.440 mm in length, 98.552 mm in width, and 201.422 mm in height, dimensions that fit standard cabinet envelopes while providing sufficient sealing surface on the subplate. By regulating system pressure rather than flow rate, the internal spool protects pumps and actuators from overload. The pilot section senses line pressure and throttles the main stage as soon as the set point is reached, keeping downstream pressure at the commanded level. This pressure-control function reduces shock during rapid load changes and limits energy waste in fixed-displacement pump systems.
