The RCG03F330 is a pressure control valve produced by Vickers in the Pressure Control Valves series and is used to maintain a fixed pressure level in automated hydraulic circuits. This model is pilot operated, so a small pilot flow modulates the main stage for stable regulation. Its two-stage configuration separates pilot and main elements to minimize pressure override. The unit tolerates system pressures up to 2000 psi, making it suitable for medium-pressure machinery. A maximum flow capacity of 45 L/min accommodates moderate pump outputs without excessive loss. Pressure is set with a screw and locknut mechanism that allows precise adjustment and secure retention of the setting. A built-in check valve lets reverse flow bypass the restriction when relief is not required. An external drain line returns pilot oil to tank, preventing backpressure from altering the pressure setting.
The RCG03F330 follows the Size 03 interface, so it fits standard subplates of that pattern, and it mounts on a subplate or manifold to simplify stacking with other valves. Fluorocarbon (Viton) seals provide chemical and thermal resistance for long service life. The design accepts phosphate ester fluids, enabling use with fire-resistant media. Fluid cleanliness must be maintained at ISO 19/17/14 or better to limit wear and sticking. The valve includes no electrical connection, relying solely on hydraulic actuation to reduce wiring complexity. It remains functional up to 70 °C and can be started at temperatures down to –20 °C, covering typical industrial and mobile environments.
