The unit is pilot operated, so a low-flow pilot stage positions the main spool for stable control, and its two-stage architecture separates sensing and load-handling functions. The envelope matches size 03 hardware and mounts against an ISO 4401-03 (NFPA D03) surface, allowing fast replacement on standard manifolds. Rated flow reaches 45 L/min (12 gpm) while maintaining pressure, and the assembly tolerates system pressures up to 140 bar (2000 psi). Subplate or manifold mounting keeps line breaks to a minimum, and the design is intended for use with petroleum oils commonly found in industrial power units.
A built-in check valve permits free reverse flow, eliminating the need for an external bypass device. The valve includes no electrical connection, so all adjustments are mechanical and hydraulic. Nitrile seals confine the fluid and resist wear in mineral-oil applications, and system cleanliness must reach ISO 4406 19/17/14 to limit erosion of internal parts. Reliable operation is maintained between –20 °C (–4 °F) and 70 °C (158 °F), covering typical ambient and reservoir conditions. By regulating circuit pressure rather than directing flow, the component fulfills the pressure control function within the system.
