The EHST3FVF40 valve is produced by Vickers for the Pressure Control Valves series and is intended to maintain hydraulic pressure under electronic control in automated equipment. It operates on a 24 VDC supply and draws 1.2 A, allowing direct connection to common power rails. A command input impedance of 32 kΩ matches proportional amplifier outputs, while a tolerated supply ripple of 10 % peak-to-peak prevents unintended shifts when the DC bus fluctuates. Continuous energization is possible because the duty cycle is 100 %. Electrical hookup is through an MS3106A-14S plug, and the housing carries an IP65 rating to block dust and water jets.
The valve mounts on an ISO 4401-03 (NG06) interface so it can be installed on standard subplates without adapters. Its rated flow is 1 l/min and the passage accommodates up to 2.5 l/min during transient demand. Pressure can be reduced to 5.5 bar at 1 l/min for low-force operation or raised to 210 bar for full load, while the T-port tolerates 20 bar of back pressure. Acceptable ambient conditions span from −20 °C to 50 °C, covering cold starts and moderate heat without affecting performance.
