This pilot-operated pressure relief design senses pressure at a pilot stage and actuates the main spool once the set value is reached. The operating pressure rating of 350 bar on ports p and x supports heavy-duty circuits, while the back-pressure rating of 315 bar on port y allows remote vent lines to run at elevated levels.
