The CG03B10 pressure control valve is manufactured by Vickers as part of the Pressure Control Valves series. It regulates hydraulic line pressure in automation systems by venting excess energy to tank. A single stage arrangement keeps response time short, and pressure is set with a screw adjustment for straightforward field tuning. The unit withstands up to 210 bar to protect downstream circuits from over-pressure. A maximum flow rate of 30 l/min allows the valve to handle moderate pump outputs without excessive pressure drop. Porting is provided through a 3/8 in interface so the valve fits common subplate patterns, and it mounts directly on a subplate or manifold to minimize piping. The housing is cast iron for structural strength under pulsating loads, and the internal passages are sized for petroleum-based oils used in most industrial equipment.
Buna-N seals prevent external leakage and resist swelling when exposed to the specified petroleum oils. The valve functions in fluids from −20 °C to 70 °C, enabling operation during cold starts and at elevated temperatures. Dimensional data of 6.25 in length, 3.12 in width, and 3.19 in height supports compact manifold layouts where envelope size is constrained. System fluid cleanliness should reach ISO 19/17/14 to limit wear on the throttling edge. There is no internal check valve, so reverse flow protection must be provided elsewhere in the circuit.
