The PVWR-360-M-R-SP-0000-000 piston pump is manufactured by Vickers for the Piston Pumps series and is intended to supply pressurized fluid in hydraulic automation. It adheres to metric dimensional standards, which simplifies alignment with metric hoses, adapters, and gauges. A variable displacement mechanism lets the pump alter output volume in real time to reduce energy loss when full flow is not required. Each shaft revolution moves 360 cm³ of oil, giving the unit a large volumetric capacity per cycle. The pump works in an open-loop circuit so returned oil passes to the reservoir for cooling and filtration rather than reentering the inlet directly. Clockwise shaft rotation matches standard right-hand engine couplings found in many industrial power packs.

At its rated speed of 1500 rpm, the pump can deliver up to 540 L/min (142 gpm), which supports multiple cylinders or large displacement motors on a single power source. Continuous operation is specified at 350 bar (5075 psi), defining the pressure limit for normal duty, while a maximum pressure of 420 bar (6090 psi) allows short-duration overloads without structural damage. The 1500 rpm speed rating also serves as the upper mechanical limit to prevent excessive bearing load and cavitation. An SP proportional control module varies displacement electronically so both flow and pressure can be trimmed in response to remote commands, enabling precise motion control in automated machinery.
