The PVH098R13AJ30A pump is manufactured by Vickers within the Piston Pumps series for hydraulic automation where constant flow is required. It displaces 98.3 cm³ per revolution, providing a defined volume for every shaft turn and enabling predictable system flow. Right-hand clockwise rotation aligns the drive with prime movers that turn in the same direction. A 4-bolt C front input shaft with a 1.50 in diameter supplies a rigid mechanical interface, while the 2.44 in shaft extension gives adequate engagement length for couplings. A single fluorocarbon shaft seal prevents external leakage and withstands elevated oil temperatures. The 1 in SAE Code 61 pressure port accepts standard high-pressure hose fittings, and the 2.5 in SAE Code 61 suction port limits inlet restriction to reduce cavitation risk. A pressure-compensator controller automatically trims displacement to hold the set pressure, and the standard displacement option keeps the unit at full volumetric capacity.
An SAE A two-bolt auxiliary output shaft with 14-tooth 12/24 splines allows the pump to drive secondary accessories without additional gearboxes. The bottom-mounted 0.875-14 SAE O-ring case drain port returns internal leakage directly to the reservoir, protecting bearings from excess pressure. Diagnostic pressure ports are omitted, so pressure readings must be taken through external test points. No flow compensation or unload valve is fitted, which keeps the circuit simple and relies solely on the pressure compensator for control. The Q250 valve plate is included to define port timing and improve volumetric efficiency. Torque control is not provided, meaning output is unaffected by load-sensing logic and follows the pressure setting alone.
