The PVE470I 35V25AR piston pump is produced by Vickers for the Piston Pumps series and supplies controlled hydraulic power in automated machinery. This variable-displacement unit has a displacement of 6.0 in³ per revolution, so flow can be scaled to match load demand. At 1800 rpm it delivers a nominal flow of 47 gpm for steady actuator motion. A load-sensing pressure-limiting control adjusts the swashplate, and the entire control assembly is side-mounted to keep the top and bottom surfaces clear. Fluid enters and leaves through side ports built to the SAE 4-bolt flange standard, facilitating rigid pipe attachment. Clockwise right-hand rotation aligns with common engine drives and reduces coupling complexity.
A built-in pressure compensator halts swashplate stroke when line pressure reaches the preset limit, protecting downstream components. The pump requires fluid cleanliness of ISO 19/15 or cleaner to preserve internal clearances and reduce wear. An A pad auxiliary mount is provided so auxiliary sensors or small pumps can be bolted directly to the housing. Through-drive configuration A allows torque to be passed to a second hydraulic unit, enabling multi-circuit systems without additional motors. These features give designers a compact, expandable source of regulated flow for presses, injection molding machines, and other automated equipment.
