The PF17L-3911-25ZE unit is produced by Vickers within the Piston Pumps series and supplies pressurized fluid for hydraulic automation circuits. The pumping element uses a piston arrangement, and nine cylinders work in a single acting layout with a fixed stroke to deliver metered displacement each revolution. At rated capacity the pump operates at 3750 rpm and tolerates system pressures up to 3000 psi. A close coupled drive connection minimizes alignment error between the pump and the driver. The design is compatible with hydrocarbon fuels and oils.
Fluid intake is managed by one flared tube port threaded 1.312-12 UN, while discharge leaves through a single flared tube outlet with a 0.750-16 UNF thread; these quantities limit plumbing complexity and keep the envelope compact. The external involute splined drive shaft measures 0.969 in in length, providing standard engagement depth for torque transfer. Together, the defined ports and shaft arrangement support straightforward connection of hoses, fittings, and prime movers in high-pressure service.
