The 622AK00375A piston pump is produced by Vickers for the Piston Pumps series and provides variable flow for hydraulic automation loops. It mounts with an SAE C flange and mates to circuit pipework through SAE J518 Code 61 ports. A continuous case pressure limit of 1.3 bar absolute (5 psig) protects internal seals, while intermittent duty can rise to 3.1 bar absolute (30 psig) and momentary peaks may reach 6.2 bar absolute (75 psig). The inlet side is rated at 1.0 bar absolute, accepts suction down to 0.85 bar absolute (5 in Hg), and allows pressure up to 4.4 bar absolute (50 psig) so that the pump can handle both flooded and boosted reservoirs without cavitation or seal damage.
This model supports a continuous fluid viscosity up to 430 cSt and endures 2100 cSt at startup, enabling cold-oil commissioning; during intermittent service viscosity must stay above 6 cSt and remain above 10 cSt when the fluid reaches 93 °C. A cleanliness rating of 21/18/13 is required to prevent abrasive wear on the rotating group. The shaft must not run below 600 rpm to keep hydrostatic bearings stable, and operation is permitted from −37 °C (−35 °F) to 104 °C (220 °F) so the pump can function in a wide range of ambient or fluid temperatures.
