MCD7196

The MCD7196 manifold block belongs to the Manifold Blocks series and is manufactured by Vickers. It serves as a compact base that distributes hydraulic flow to actuators in automated machinery. Two flow control cartridges are installed to meter oil in separate circuits, giving the system independent speed settings. Three solenoids are mounted on the block so electronic commands can shift the associated valves without manual intervention. A male, two-pin W2P electrical connector carries coil power and keeps wiring simple during assembly. One service port is sized for a 9/16-18 ORB plug, and the bore is sealed by a 0.078-inch-thick O-ring with a 0.468-inch inside diameter to prevent bypass leakage when the port is capped.

Another service port uses a 5/16-24 ORB thread that is matched with a 0.064-inch-thick O-ring having a 0.239-inch inside diameter so smaller diagnostic passages can be closed securely. Internal passages link the cartridge cavities directly to the actuator lines, trimming external tubing and lowering pressure losses in automated presses or fixtures. Coil power routed through the same connector triggers the mounted solenoids for rapid directional changes. With both large and small ORB plugs available, maintenance crews can isolate individual circuits or bleed trapped air without disassembling the entire block. This set of threaded ports, seal dimensions, and integrated electrical interface allows the MCD7196 to consolidate control, isolation, and monitoring tasks inside a single manifold body.
