The HMC045-Z-45-30-FC3-10 hydraulic motor is part of the Hydraulic Motors series produced by Vickers for automated fluid power systems. Designed to convert pressurized oil into controlled rotation, it supports dual displacement operation; the high displacement setting of 737 cc per revolution delivers maximum torque for heavy load starts, while the low displacement setting of 492 cc per revolution reduces flow demand during high-speed runs. A rated shaft speed of 600 rpm allows steady output in continuous service, and the 119 kW power rating defines the mechanical work the motor can transmit to connected machinery. Running torque reaches 2650 N·m at 250 bar, giving ample turning force for industrial actuators. The unit withstands continuous pressures up to 250 bar to suit standard circuit demands, accepts intermittent surges to 300 bar for short load spikes, and can meet peak events of 405 bar without structural damage.
Interface features support simple integration in closed or open-loop circuits. The control section mounts on an ISO 4401 size 03 (C) pattern, so standard valve stacks can be fitted without adapters. Control ports X and Y are threaded G1/4 BSPF, providing convenient pilot line hookups, while the main pressure lines connect through a 1-1/4 in SAE four-bolt flange with UNC threads to accommodate high-flow hoses. A dedicated drain port with 3/4-16 UNF threads returns leakage oil to tank and protects shaft seals. During overrunning conditions the motor can freewheel at 1500 rpm, which avoids cavitation when driven by external inertia. Minimum control pressure of 3.5 bar ensures the displacement change mechanism operates reliably, and the same 3.5 bar limit applies to motorcase pressure to prevent seal extrusion.
