The GR-MEU2-15-5S13-30-DU-JA motor belongs to the Hydraulic Motors series and is produced by Vickers. It converts pressurized fluid into controlled rotation for heavy-duty automation tasks. A displacement of 246 cm³ per revolution sets the volume of fluid required to turn the output shaft once. Delivering its nominal performance calls for a rated flow of 500 L/min, while a rated speed of 195 rpm keeps the unit within stable mechanical limits. Continuous duty at 14 MPa defines the rated working pressure so circuits can size pumps and valves appropriately. The shaft can transmit up to 660 N·m without overstressing the splines or bearings. A four-bolt square flange provides rigid mounting, and hydraulic lines connect through a 7/8-14 UNF SAE O-ring main port that maintains a leak-free seal. The separate pilot line attaches to an Rc1/4 port to control the integrated brake. Brake actuation is managed by an external pilot so the user can hold or release the drive from a remote valve block. Releasing the brake requires 2 MPa in the pilot circuit, after which the shaft can turn; when pressure is removed the brake applies 200 N·m of torque to secure the load during shutdown or positioning operations.
