The TB07FAAA1AA01000 cylinder is produced by Vickers for the Hydraulic Cylinders series and supplies linear force in hydraulic automation systems. The working medium is hydraulic oil, so internal passages and seals are sized for standard industrial fluids. A stroke length of 1.00 in defines the travel available per cycle, and a maximum operating pressure of 1000 psi sets the force capacity the assembly can transmit. The tube is made from non-case-hardened steel to balance strength with machinability, and the single rod configuration delivers thrust in both extending and retracting directions with one piston. A chrome-plated rod resists abrasion and corrosion during repeated strokes. Because the design is non-cushioned, the piston reaches the end stops without an internal deceleration zone, so external damping is required when soft stopping is needed. The rod may rotate during operation because the unit is supplied without a non-rotating feature.

Installation is handled through a head rectangular flange mount that bolts directly to machine frames and maintains alignment under load. Fluid connections are arranged in the head 1–cap 1 position so lines can be routed symmetrically to each end of the bore, and the ports use NPTF threads to achieve a dryseal joint without auxiliary sealants. Inside the bore, a U-cup piston seal formed from nitrile provides bidirectional sealing with low breakout friction, while the primary seal stack combines Teflon with carboxylated nitrile to improve wear resistance at higher pressures. Around the rod exit, a carboxylated lip-type rod seal retains fluid while allowing smooth translation of the chrome surface. This specification set ensures controlled leakage rates, straightforward mounting, and dependable compatibility with common hydraulic oils so the cylinder can be integrated into presses, fixtures, or material-handling devices.
