Its unit type is single pressure without vent so the component offers one fixed unloading point without an auxiliary vent feature. The valve size is 1.5 in (size 12), providing a flow path sized for medium-to-high capacity pumps. An SAE J518 Code 61 4-bolt flange attaches the body to matching ports, and the pump flange mounting arrangement positions the inlet directly on the pump housing to save piping. The P port uses a 1.50 in SAE Code 61 4-bolt interface and is rated for 350 bar (5000 psi), enabling connection to high-pressure pump discharge lines. A matching 1.50 in SAE Code 61 4-bolt T port returns flow to tank when the valve unloads, maintaining consistent port geometry across the installation.
An internal accumulator sense port samples pressure inside the valve body, eliminating an external sensing line. The integral in-line check prevents reverse flow toward the pump, and its cracking pressure of 0.3 bar (5 psi) lets the pump re-prime quickly after unloading. An external pilot drain removes pilot oil from the control section to reduce back pressure, and a .5625-18 UNF-2B threaded drain port is provided for that line. The same thread size appears on the gage port so a pressure gauge can be mounted without adapters. Flow capability reaches 600 l/min (160 USgpm), allowing the valve to handle large displacement pumps. System pressure is set by a screw adjust with locknut, which secures the setting against vibration.
