The PA5DG4S4LW 0133C 50 directional valve is built by Vickers for the DG4 Directional Valves series and directs pressurized oil to hydraulic actuators in automated machinery. A single-stage flow path and spool type 33 meter the oil, while a spring-centered three-position mechanism returns the spool to neutral when the solenoid is de-energized. In that neutral state the center condition is a closed center with bleed to ports A and B, limiting standby leakage. The unit tolerates up to 3000 psi system pressure and passes as much as 20.0 gpm, making it suitable for medium-capacity circuits. It installs on an ISO 4401-05 (NFPA D05) interface and is intended for subplate or manifold mounting to simplify replacement. Solenoid energizing time ranges from 20 ms to 40 ms, providing a predictable switching delay for control logic.
A 5-pin plug-in electrical connector (PA5) links the coil to the control harness, and a 1/2 in NPTF conduit entry is provided for wiring protection in industrial environments. Indicator lights on the housing confirm coil status during setup and troubleshooting. Buna-N seals contain petroleum-based fluids, the medium specified for compatibility, and the design maintains fluid cleanliness requirements at ISO 4406 20/18/15 to protect internal clearances. The tank port withstands back-pressure up to 1000 psi, allowing use on circuits with elevated return lines.
