It is solenoid operated so electrical control signals shift the spool without manual effort. The coil is rated at 24 VDC, allowing direct connection to standard power supplies on mobile or industrial equipment. A flying lead coil with a terminal block simplifies field wiring because conductors can be landed on screw terminals adjacent to the actuator. The valve follows the ISO 4401-05 (NFPA D05) interface, making it compatible with widely used subplates. In line with that interface, it is supplied for subplate or manifold mounting to streamline replacement. A single-stage construction shortens flow paths, and a spring-centered return brings the spool back to neutral when power is removed.
The valve handles a maximum flow of 95 l/min, enabling medium-duty circuits to move oil without excessive pressure drop. System pressure can reach 250 bar (3600 psi), which lets designers use it in high-pressure presses and tooling. The tank port is rated for 70 bar (1000 psi) so back pressure in the return line remains within safe limits. Petroleum oils are the specified fluid, assuring seal compatibility with common hydraulic media. Operation is certified between 20 °C (70 °F) and 50 °C (122 °F), accommodating typical factory environments. An indicator light is fitted to show when the solenoid is energized, aiding troubleshooting and setup.
