The DG4V556CVMUC620 valve is produced by Vickers as part of the DG4 Directional Valves series and directs hydraulic flow in automated systems. It is a single stage assembly that uses solenoid operated actuation to shift Spool 56 within the body. The solenoids accept a 220 VAC 50 Hz coil rating so compatibility is maintained with standard industrial mains, and each coil draws 105 VA to define the supply requirement. Electrical connection is through an ISO 4400 (DIN 43650) connector for rapid field wiring. A spring centered arrangement returns the spool to neutral when power is removed, and the energizing pattern Sol A Port A/Sol B Port B determines which flow paths are opened during operation.
For installation, the valve mates to subplate or manifold blocks using the ISO 4401-05 (NFPA D05) interface, allowing replacement without disturbing hard plumbing. In service it handles up to 120 L/min, and the internal passages tolerate a maximum operating pressure of 315 bar while the tank port is limited to 120 bar. Petroleum oils are the designated working medium, provided cleanliness is kept to 19/17/14 to protect the spool surfaces. Viton (FKM) seals are fitted to resist common hydraulic additives and elevated temperatures, completing a package suited to medium-capacity directional control tasks.
