A spring-offset A-type spool arrangement returns the element to the designated normal position when the solenoid is de-energized, providing predictable fail-safe behavior. The wet armature solenoid is immersed in fluid, which improves heat dissipation and reduces noise during actuation. Connection to a manifold is achieved through an ISO 4401-AC-05-4-A interface, simplifying installation on standardized subplates. Mineral oil and water-glycol fluids are accepted, giving designers flexibility in selecting media for fire resistance or traditional lubrication. Electrical power arrives through a plug-in conduit box sized G 1⁄2, and two G 1⁄2 conduit entries are available to route wiring from either side of the installation.
