The DG4V52AMP7LH740 valve is produced by Vickers as part of the DG4 Directional Valves series to route pressurized fluid in automated hydraulic machinery. It features wet armature construction that keeps the solenoid core immersed for reduced wear and quiet shifting. The coil is rated at 24 V DC and draws 1.58 A in hold condition, making it compatible with common control voltages. An integrated indicator lamp with a surge suppressor shows energization status and limits transient voltage. The spool is arranged in a spring-offset A configuration so flow returns to its default path when power is removed. Corresponding subplate holes are 6.6 mm in diameter with 11 mm counterbores to clear the fastener heads. The mounting face is ground to 1.6 µm Ra so the gasket seals reliably under load. Wiring enters through a G 1/2 conduit thread, simplifying connection with standard cable glands.
