The DG4V522AJMUH620 directional valve belongs to the DG4 Directional Valves series and is manufactured by Vickers for hydraulic automation. It provides two positions to redirect flow when the solenoid is energized or de-energized. A wet armature solenoid allows the moving plunger to run in hydraulic fluid, reducing noise and wear. Electrical input is accepted through a DIN 43650 connector, and the housing is tapped with a Pg11 thread for the conduit fitting. Internal flow paths follow spool code 22, and the A spring-offset arrangement returns the spool to its rest position without power. The unit handles mineral oil or water-glycol fluids, giving flexibility for plant standardization. Rated working pressure is 31.5 MPa, and the T port withstands back pressure up to 15.7 MPa.
The valve fastens to subplates that use the ISO 4401-AC-05-4-A interface, and four M6 mounting bolts hold it in place. Each bolt engages a 14 mm deep hole to achieve proper clamping force. The mating face must maintain flatness within 0.01 mm per 100 mm to prevent internal leakage paths. Surface roughness should be no greater than 1.6 µm Ra so the seal ring can compress evenly. An F3-compatible seal option allows operation with phosphate ester fluids when fire-resistant media are required. These mechanical requirements ensure stable alignment and leak-free service throughout duty cycles in hydraulic machinery.
