The DG4V50CJMUH722 directional valve is produced by Vickers within the DG4 Directional Valves series and directs pressurized fluid to selected actuator ports in automated hydraulic systems. It is solenoid-operated so the spool shifts on an electrical command, while a 24 V DC coil allows the control circuit to share the standard machine supply. Power consumption of 38 W keeps electrical loading modest during holding periods. An ISO 4400 (DIN 43650) connector supplies a quick-detach wiring point that speeds maintenance. The spool is spring-centered, letting the valve return to neutral when the coil is de-energized, and a plain manual override permits local actuation for commissioning or emergency operation. Subplate or manifold mounting enables the valve to bolt directly onto common stack bodies, minimizing pipe runs and leakage paths.
This single-stage design uses an ISO 4401-05 interface pattern so port locations align with size 05 subplates for interchangeability across brands. A maximum flow rating of 120 L/min supports medium throughput circuits without excessive velocity loss, and the 315 bar pressure limit accommodates high-pressure pumps frequently found in industrial presses. The tank port is separately limited to 210 bar, protecting return-line components from over-pressure. Allowed service temperatures extend from −20 °C to 70 °C, ensuring reliable seal performance in cold starts and warm operating bays. The valve is supplied without an indicator light, so coil energization must be monitored through the machine control rather than a local lens.
