The DG4V50AMUA620 directional valve is produced by Vickers for the DG4 Directional Valves series and regulates flow paths in hydraulic automation circuits. Control is provided by a solenoid-operated actuation type, so electrical signals shift the spool without manual intervention. A wet armature solenoid construction submerges the magnetic core in fluid to reduce noise and wear. The valve employs a 2-position spool, and a spring offset A type arrangement returns the spool to its normal position when the coil is de-energized. It withstands working pressures up to 31.5 MPa, allowing use in high-pressure power units. Standard hydraulic media include mineral oil or water-glycol, and an optional F3 build permits operation with phosphate ester fluids when fire-resistant liquids are required.
An overall length of 287 mm, body height of 95 mm, and body width of 73 mm define a compact block for manifold stacks. The valve mounts on an ISO 4401-AC-05-4-A interface, and four M6 bolts secure the body; each bolt should be tightened to 12–15 N·m to maintain seal integrity. Electrical termination is handled through a DIN 43650 (ISO 4400) connector that simplifies coil replacement. The winding uses Class H insulation and tolerates temperatures up to 180 °C during continuous duty. These dimensional, mechanical, and electrical details aid straightforward installation and support long-term service in automated hydraulic manifolds.
